Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.

Last updated June 23, 2026

Overview

Act More Human ("we," "us," or "our") publishes free guides and prompt templates that help you make AI assistants sound more natural, and offers paid consultation services. This policy explains what personal information we handle when you use actmorehuman.com, why we handle it, and the choices you have.

We keep data collection to what the site actually needs. Where the law requires your consent — such as for non-essential cookies and personalized advertising — we ask for it through a consent banner before those tools load, and you can change your choice at any time.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you book a consultation, request custom help, send feedback, or contact us, you may provide your name, email address, and the details of your request. When you pay for a service, our payment processor collects your payment details (we never see or store full card numbers).

Information collected automatically

When you browse the site, analytics and error-monitoring tools may record usage data — pages viewed, referring links, approximate location (derived from your IP address, not stored as a precise location), device and browser type, and interactions. The exact tools and what each collects are listed under Cookies and analytics.

How we use your information

  • To provide the guides, templates, and paid services you request.
  • To process payments and donations and send related confirmations.
  • To respond to your questions, feedback, and support requests.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve content and performance.
  • To diagnose errors and keep the site secure and reliable.
  • With your consent, to show advertising and measure its performance.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies and similar technologies let the site function and let us understand usage. We group them into essential tools (needed for the site to work and to stay secure) and non-essential tools (analytics and advertising), which load only after you consent. You can accept, reject, or adjust categories using the cookie banner, and reopen it any time to withdraw consent.

Advertising

We may use Google AdSense to display ads. When advertising is enabled and you consent, Google and its partners may use cookies and device identifiers to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in Google's advertising policies. You can manage ad personalization in your Google Ad Settings, and visitors in the EEA and UK will only see personalized ads after giving consent through our banner.

Payments and donations

Payments for consultations and other services are processed by Stripe. Donations are processed by Ko-fi. These providers handle your payment details under their own privacy policies; we receive confirmation and limited details (such as your name and email) needed to deliver the service.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf, and when required by law or to protect our rights. Each provider receives only what it needs for its function.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the right to know, delete, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your data — note that we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@actmorehuman.com. To change cookie or advertising choices, reopen the cookie banner and update your preferences.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. Analytics providers retain usage data under their own schedules. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Children's privacy

The site is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide a more prominent notice.
