Act More Human for Slack
Draft in your organisation's voice without leaving Slack
Ask from a slash command, a message menu, a thread or a direct message. The draft appears only to you, and nothing is posted until you choose Post.
An organisation owner on any paid plan adds it once for the whole workspace. You'll sign in to Act More Human first.
Only visible to you
/amh write tell the team the launch moves to Thursday
Act More Human
Quick change of plan: the launch moves to Thursday. Support gets a full day with the new docs first, and nothing changes for customers. If Thursday clashes with anything on your side, tell me today.
Team updates · Drafted with AI. Read it and edit it before you post.
Four ways to ask
Each one writes in your default voice, and you can choose a different voice for any request. Set your default on the app's Home tab in Slack.
Type /amh
/amh writeturns a short brief into a message./amh rewritereworks text you've already written.Rewrite a message
Open the ⋯ menu on any message and choose Rewrite in voice. Post the result straight into the thread.
Mention it in a thread
Mention @Act More Human in a thread and say what you need. It reads up to 15 messages of the thread so the reply fits, and stores none of them.
Send it a direct message
Write to Act More Human as you would to a colleague, then post the draft to any channel you're in.
Nothing goes out until you say so
Only you see the draft
Every draft appears only to you, in the conversation where you asked. Nobody else can see it.
You decide what happens
Choose Post, ask for another version with Try again, or choose Cancel. To make your own changes first, copy the draft and post it yourself.
It goes out under your name
Post publishes the message as you, never as the app. The first time, Slack asks you to let Act More Human post for you.
What we keep, and for how long
Read the full privacy policy- Your brief and the draft
- Kept for 30 days so you can find them again, then deleted. Only you can read them, in your Act More Human account. Your organisation's owners see that you asked, never what you wrote.
- Messages in a thread
- When you mention the app in a thread, we read those messages to write that one reply. We never store them.
- Your Slack email address
- We use it to match you to your Act More Human account, so your organisation's voices and limits apply to you. Owners see it in the Slack log, next to each request you make.
- No training
- We never train an AI model on anything from Slack, ours or anyone else's.
